Biography
Georgia Devonshire is a painter and illustrator from West Vancouver. Her artistic practice is an exploration of the dynamic relationship between architecture, interior design, and the evolving needs of individuals and communities.
Georgia gets most of her inspiration during night walks where peoples' windows become illuminated in the dark creating an interesting dynamic between the private and the public. Voyeurism is an essential aspect of this exploration. Her practice investigates how the design and placement of windows impact our connection to the external world. By examining how people engage with their environments, she aims to spark a dialogue about boundaries, privacy, and the role location has in shaping these interactions.
